Fullerton hosted The Great Kids Art Exhibit on March 7, showcasing the artistic talents of local children. The event attracted around one hundred attendees, fostering a warm atmosphere filled with creativity and music provided by a local band. Organized by the All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation, the exhibit reflects the ongoing commitment to promoting arts education within the community. Families participated enthusiastically as they enjoyed the vibrant artwork and looked forward to future programs being offered for children and families alike.
Fullerton was buzzing with excitement on March 7 as the city hosted the colorful The Great Kids Art Exhibit. This vibrant event was a delightful showcase of the artistic talents of the youngest residents, and it drew a crowd of approximately one hundred attendees. Families, friends, and art lovers all gathered to celebrate the creativity and expressiveness of children from the local community.
The atmosphere at the exhibit was described as nothing short of welcome and relaxed. Visitors strolled through the art displays, admiring the unique creations that filled the expansive gallery space. The air was infused with a sense of wonder as families encouraged their little artists, sharing laughter and stories about each vivid piece on display.
As if the artistic brilliance on the walls wasn’t enough, the ambiance was further enhanced by a talented two-piece band called “10 by Two”. Bob Aul brought life to the exhibit with his upright bass while Pete Colby strummed his electric guitar, creating a delightful backdrop that complemented the vibrant artwork. Their music set the perfect tone for a day dedicated to creativity and young talent.
The exhibit was organized by the All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation, an organization that has been passionately dedicated to bringing the joy of the arts to children since its inception in 1992. The Foundation collaborates with the Fullerton School District to offer innovative art lessons to children from kindergarten through sixth grade, and it currently serves an impressive 10,500 kids. The curriculum not only includes art but also expands into other creative realms like music, dance, and theater, all led by professional artists providing enriching experiences.
Last November, the Foundation celebrated a major milestone when it secured a dedicated space for its programs by leasing a building in downtown Fullerton. Since moving into its own space, the demand for its offerings has soared, which has been a fantastic development for arts education in the area. With an eye on the future, plans are underway for expanding programs to include adults and teens, broadening the outreach of their artistic mission.
For families in Fullerton, the upcoming Spring Break from March 17 to 21 promises daily art classes hosted by the Foundation. Enrollment details can be found on their Facebook page, allowing parents to easily get their kids connected to creative activities. Excitingly, an Arts Adventure Camp is also on the horizon for summer, giving young artists even more opportunities to explore and expand their creative horizons.
The vibrant culture of Fullerton continues to thrive thanks to the efforts of the All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation. With a whopping three million dollars raised to support arts education, the Foundation’s heart project promises to be a vital resource for the community. People interested in learning more about upcoming programs and events can visit the Foundation’s website at www.allthearts.org or drop by their physical location at 114 N. Harbor Blvd, Fullerton.
As the weekend faded out, the memories of The Great Kids Art Exhibit lingered, showcasing the potential of our young artists and their bright futures in the arts. Here’s to more events celebrating creativity and the imagination of our children!
