If you’re a Fullerton resident looking for some fun this spring, you’re in luck! Two exciting events are just around the corner, guaranteed to bring the community together for a weekend full of joy and connection. Mark your calendars for an unforgettable evening of music and laughter at FAMCHELLA on Friday, April 4, 2025, followed by a fantastic opportunity to declutter your home at the Community Yard Sale on Saturday, April 5, 2025!
Get ready for an evening filled with entertainment at the Fullerton Community Center, located at 340 West Commonwealth Avenue. From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, this vibrant event will be packed with great music, handmade crafts, and tons of family-friendly activities that everyone can enjoy.
The best part? Admission is only $5! It’s a budget-friendly way to spend time with family and meet friends in the community. If you’re excited to attend, you can easily reserve your tickets online at fullertonconnect.com. Don’t miss this chance to create unforgettable memories while soaking in the lively atmosphere.
Just when you think the fun ends, the excitement continues! On Saturday, April 5, 2025, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get ready for a Community Yard Sale at Independence Park. Running from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, this yard sale is the perfect opportunity for families to declutter their homes and sell unused items. What better way to make some extra cash and find hidden treasures!
If you’re interested in joining as a vendor, you can secure your space for just $25 if you live in Fullerton, or $30 if you’re coming in from outside the city. The Community Yard Sale not only promotes recycling but also encourages community engagement, fostering connections among neighbors.
To learn more about becoming a vendor, you can reach out to the Parks and Recreation Department at (714) 738-6587. They’ll have all the details you need to set up shop and sell your goods.
While these events are sure to bring excitement, it’s important to mention that significant lane reductions will be taking place on Rosecrans Avenue starting March 31, 2025. This construction aims to replace an aging water main and will last for up to one month. Commuters should anticipate delays as lanes will be restricted to one in each direction, 24/7.
Additionally, be aware that left turns from Camino Del Sol and Camino Loma will be prohibited during this time. It’s a good idea to plan your routes in advance and give yourself a little extra time to get where you’re going.
For further inquiries regarding the construction, residents can contact City Engineering at (714) 738-6845. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated as the city works to improve our infrastructure!
So, whether you’re looking to dance the night away at FAMCHELLA or clear out some old belongings during the Community Yard Sale, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in Fullerton this April! Grab your family and friends, and don’t miss out on these wonderful community events. It’s time to make some new memories together!
