This new facility, situated at 835 S. Bellevue Blvd., was purchased for a whopping $3.55 million and is set to change the game for the company’s operations in Memphis.
The building was previously home to Graphic Packaging, which shut its doors in 2024, leaving about 70 hardworking employees searching for new opportunities. Thankfully, Formosa Packaging’s entry into the Memphis area brings a ray of hope and a fresh start for the community. The deed for this new property purchase has already been filed with the Shelby County Register of Deeds, marking the official beginnings of what seems to be a bright future.
This isn’t Formosa Packaging’s first venture into the Memphis market. In 2023, the company made headlines when it acquired Color Craft Label & Flexible Packaging, a well-known manufacturer specializing in custom printing and shrink sleeves. Now, with the new facility addition, Formosa will operate under the Color Craft branding in Memphis, expanding its footprint significantly.
Alongside this new purchase, Formosa also runs a production facility at 594 Dr. M.L.K.
